Found out about the position on LinkedIn and applied online on the website. Standard application form with a few questions around asking inspiration for apply to the company and the role. My profile is data engineering and data analytics and matches quite well with their job spec. I have also been part of multiple statrups. Anyways I get a standard reply that my profile does not fit very well, which I personally think is not correct. In the rejection email was a code for a free month on their app. I wonder who would use there app after being rejected without even having an introductory call. They seem to have a great marketing stratergy but I think they lack the understanding of what a data engineer is.
