It's evident that this company lacks the oversight of an HR or Talent Acquisition team when it comes to their interview process. The application process starts with an AI prompt exercise, a practice discouraged by anyone with TA experience. Having candidates invest time and effort in an assessment before any interaction is not conducive to a positive candidate experience from the outset.
Following the initial application, the interview process involves a video interview with someone outside of recruiting/HR. This is because they do not have an HR/TA dept, and this role actually reports into the the product org.
The interview itself appears to be a bait-and-switch scenario. Initially advertised as a full-time role, it turns out to be a part-time position, functioning more as a fractional recruiter for sales professionals in other companies. The sales roles presented are more akin to side gigs, tied to their 'Flex' product, rather than the traditional recruiter role initially conveyed.
In summary, the company appears to lack a clear direction, and without the guidance of an HR dept. Definitely stay away from this company.

What would you say if one of your new hires asks if they can tell their employer they are a fractional sales rep for Bravado?
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Bravado nel mese di dic 2023
Colloquio
The process starts following application when you are tasked with using their new ChatGPT-esque AI software to find candidates for sample roles. You're then asked to share the prompts you wrote to find said candidates in a google forms sheet. Training their AI?
Following the project, I was invited to a short 30-min zoom interview with someone outside of recruiting, always a red-flag when the first interview isn't with someone on the team your potentially joining or a recruiter/TA.
The "interview" started with a quick opportunity for me to ask questions, fairly normal start. The second half was the eyebrow raiser. I was asked 3-4 questions (listed below) that felt more like a survey for potential customers than an interview. After answering the last question (What would you say if someone asked you if they could work full-time while also working as a fractional sales rep with Bravado?), I answered and then asked what Bravado's response currently is to that question.
"That's a great questions, we don't have one. We're still working on the official answer for that."
Having read the interview feedback from right before my process, I was already slightly suspicious something was going on. Following that answer, it was pretty clear they're either baiting and switching (interviewing a bunch of recruiters to gather feedback/ML prompts for their product) or their interview process needs serious overhaul.
Discussed compensation: $70-90k "and a bunch of equity"

What makes a good sales person? Have you made a bad hire? What would you say to someone who asked you if they could work full-time while also working as a fractional sales rep with Bravado?
