There are three rounds of interview. The first two are behavioral and product questions. The third one is conducted by an HR, and it's more like a cultural interview. My first interview got replaced by a writing test due to the interviewer's time conflict. The overall interview experience is pretty good. Got a pretty smooth communication and the process was professional.
ByteDance's HR team moves very fast. The whole process could totally have been finished within one week.

Very bad experience for the interview last year. The interviewer seemed to be trying to extract information from the candidate, lacking patience and basic skills. Disappointing for the 20 mins

The interview process was fluent, transparent, and efficiently arranged. Interviewers were highly professional, conducting quick yet smooth sessions that deeply explored my CV and included many thoughtful and subjective questions.
