Definitely one of the best recruitment process I've ever gone through. The response time was very quick after I submitted my application. The recruiter (Julia) was a huge help throughout the entire process. She did a fantastic job keeping me in the loop and following up with me every step of the way. The engineers (Morgan & Merissa) who interviewed me were friendly and provided me with really good insights into the company.
My process consists of a phone screening, a (pretty fun, stress-free) technical assessment, a one-hour technical Zoom interview, and a 30-min behavioral Zoom interview.
The technical assessment is a full-stack (React/Express) web development project with a given set of requirements to implement. Following the assessment, the technical interview focuses on live-coding and expanding the assessment you’ve submitted with additional features. It was a very stress-free experience and minutes into the interview, I felt like I was pair-programming with a friend, instead of being interviewed for a job. Overall, I had a fantastic interview experience with the Cameo team and at the end of the process, I felt like I was being tested for the job.

The interview process was fantastic! Julia was my main point-of-contact throughout the whole process and she was without-a-doubt the best recruiter I've had the pleasure of working with through an application process.
It took them a month or two to get back to me after I submitted my application but only around 2 weeks after that until my offer. It was an incredibly smooth process and I was always in the know of what was going on and what I should expect thanks to Julia.
The actual interview process included a 30 min introductory phone call followed by a ~3-hour coding assessment that I thought was fun and engaging. After that was reviewed by some of their engineers, I did a 1.5 hour onsite (zoom) interview with an hour dedicated to a live-coding exercise followed by a 30 min conversation about career goals with a different team member. The live-coding session was incredibly fun, stress-free, laid back, and an all-around great indicator of their culture and team environment. The engineer I did the coding session with was extremely kind, warm, welcoming of all questions/concerns I had, and made me feel part of the Cameo team even in the short hour we had together. Around a week or so later, I got an offer. Overall, a great interview experience filled with great people!
