Online interview. Got through the initial screening interview and went on to talk with the hiring manager. I answered several easy questions about running an efficient team, recognising performance. etc.
Got a curious rejection about not enough experience despite ticking all the boxes and a very enthusiastic response from the internal recruiter. I asked for feedback and got nothing.
We didn't cover any of the technical engineering aspects about my experience which I thought was odd. Then there was an offhand comment was that hiring manager was still at school when I had some particular experience.
