I applied online and they reached out about 2 weeks later. The hiring manager was very nice. We had our initial zoom call where she asked me about my background and explained the team's structure to me. She liked my resume and said she will be forwarding my resume to the team's manager.
About a week later, I had my interview with the team manager. She was nice but looked very tired. She would politely nod and comment on my experience, but really didn't ask any questions or explained in detail who they're looking for. It almost sounds like she wasn't even sure why they are hiring a marketing manager for the team. The interview was great however, and she told me she really liked my energy and would love to see me continuing the process.
Long story short, didn't hear back from them for about 2 weeks, and when they finally reached back out, it was to let me know they've filled the position...which is fine. Until this morning, I received an e-mail from LinkedIn, suggesting I apply for this "actively recruiter" branding marketing role at CookUnity... only now the salary budget is $10,000 less. What a mess.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso CookUnity (Brooklyn, NY) nel mese di apr 2024
Colloquio
It was a 4 interview process - took about 2 months in total. Was fairly standard of meeting with the hiring manager, 2 individuals on the team for culture fit interviews and then a final presentation of a given project
