Met them at a career fair, they asked me to keep in touch until the next career fair. At the second career fair they insisted that they wanted to "hire" me, and implied that an interview would only be necessary to "meet the team." After 3 phone calls they absolutely insisted on having me come out to their location--an hour round trip commute and about ~$80 travel fees later (no form of reimbursement). Refused a conference call or Skype meeting. On-site interview was about 3 hours. 1:1 with an HR VP. Then a group interview with the team which was mostly discussing the company, the position, your workplace personality, etc. Then more 1:1 with the same HR VP. Salary and benefits were discussed. Then there was two more weeks waiting after my final interview, and only after a phone call and an e-mail from me did they finally reveal that they were no longer interested. After seeing their first offer and their benefits (or lack thereof... 5 days vacation and no sick/personal days? Plus a 0 work-from-home policy at a tech company? I've never ever heard of that). Bullet dodged.
