The recruiter appeared to be overwhelmed with her workload. She could not articulate very well. It appeared to me that even before the interview, she decided that I did not fit this position but she set up an hour interview anyway and only told me at the end of the interview, which I consider to be a waste of both of our time. Then she suggested a junior position for me in the future, which is more junior than my current position and the position I am applying for. I find this condescending. She forgets that the interview is a two-way process, which allows the candidates to learn about the company too. Unfortunately I did not have a pleasant candidate experience. From this I am afraid that Criteo currently does not have the right culture and the caliber of professionals that I am looking for in my next career move.
