I really enjoyed interviewing with Curalate! Dana, the Talent Acquisition Manager was my first interview where we recapped on the basics of the company and the position. One of the things I appreciated most about the interview process is how swift and thorough Dana was, and consistently kept me in the loop during every step of the process. Before my final interview with the CTO of Curalate, Dana called me and we had a quick chat about the format and some last minute tips, which helped to ease my nervousness and made me feel like I was already shaping up to be part of a fantastic company.
The interview process took about 6 weeks in total. I met with Dana, then another series of Google Hangouts with another Client Support Engineer, then the lead Client Support Engineer, the VP of Engineering, and then finally an in-person meeting with the CTO. In between the 2nd and 3rd interviews, I had a quick assignment where I had to complete a website audit and walk through the steps of querying the Instagram API. It was a very streamlined process, and everyone I met with was very enthusiastic, thoughtful, and asked a mix of technical vs behavioral oriented questions.
Outside of just general enthusiasm about the company and the position in general, every I interviewed with gave a great overview of the inner workings of the job, and the culture of the company. I could clearly feel how much everyone enjoyed to work there, and they didn't shy away from any questions I asked about the team or culture in general. I received an offer about 3-4 days after my last interview, and it's lived up to my expectations since then.
