The Dataminr recruiter was late to our scheduled interview (not off to a good start). Her questions were poorly structured and thus quite difficult to answer succinctly. Instead of asking single, specific questions, she 'asked' things like "I'm not familiar with your products at [company], tell me about your sales process, deal size, sales cycle, and sales approach." On the topic of salary, she refused to provide even a rough estimate or range. She instead insisted that there is a wide range that they could offer, and they don't want to over or under-sell me... I understand not wanting to anchor me at a number above what I would be willing to accept, but in order to not waste each other's time, salary information is a necessity.
