The recruitment process at Deel involved four stages, each with different company representatives. 1. I applied via Flexjobs and was invited for the first interview two days later. This initial meeting with the hiring partner was 30 minutes, introducing me to the company and the specifics of the role I was seeking. 2. The second interview was an open discussion with the Director. This conversation offered some insights into the business, the job's challenges and expectations. 3. In the third phase, I was tasked with two case studies involving financial and data analysis. I was given five days to analyze the data and prepare two presentations. 4. The final interview was with a senior colleague I would be closely work with, should I get the job. This interview focused on my cultural fit and technical skills, offering a more details of the role's requirements and expectations.
After the interview stages were complete, I received an invitation to discuss job offer in about two weeks. It took one more month to receive the final offer.
Overall, Deel's recruitment process was thorough and technically oriented, providing a clear understanding of what the job expected. All the interviewers conveyed a positive company culture, which greatly influenced my decision to accept the offer.
