Had a great conversation with the recruiter and the hiring manager out of Canada, then moved to three, 30 minute interviews with local employees, two of which would report to the role. 30 minutes - 10 of that spent by the respective interviewer telling me about them, their role and what they do. Then asked 2 questions and cut off at the 25min mark so they could check on 'questions' and inform me of next steps. Was then contacted by a junior recruiter who had coordinated the interviews to tell me they weren't going further, feedback was that they thought I was 'lovely' but just didn't feel I had the experience for that role. How on earth do you establish experience in 15 minutes, when you've got a bunch of white guys too busy talking about themselves to bother asking insightful questions?
