Have gone through several interviews for different analyst positions. Generally have a phone screening, followed by a bit of a thought problem with some basic statistics and expected value questions. In one instance I made it to the final round of interviews, 5 hours long, in person. Everyone was very nice, the office was very cool. The 5 hour process began with a conversation about the role, then lead to another case study type interview and a few other conversational interviews talking about skills and experience. Had trouble getting feedback in the end. Had to ask a company contact who had bumped into some of my interviewers in the hallway to get feedback for me. Another time around for a different role I was given the case study earlier in the process and it was the same case study as I had seen before.

Case study featuring a train platform scenario where people were complaining about how long the train riding process was. Pretend data was gathered at different points in the station (at the ticket booth, at the entry, train schedules etc). You have to draw some basic graphs of when delays would be expected the longest and work through logically where the time sink was.

The interview process was smooth with 3 rounds technical, 2 rounds behavioral. The questions were fair game and recruiter will give context up on technical interviews beforehand if you simply ask.

SQL, coding, syntax, they want to see your thinking process. They ask you how you would code certain situations and retrieve info from a database. Don't try to use AI because they will know

Overall, the recruiter was very responsive and stayed on top of everything throughout the process. Communication was quick, clear, and organized. The entire interview experience felt smooth and well-coordinated, so I really can’t complain — it was a solid process from start to finish.
