They outsourced interview to Karat, 3 easy technical runtime/logic erros in code questions and then 1 medium to hard LC. Interviewer doesnt help at all and just stares at you

What is the runtime of these two algos and which is faster? When might one be faster than the other?
They respond pretty fast and the recruiter keeps you updated throughout the process. OA is just a basic CodeSignal, then a Karat which can vary but usually asks one LC-style problem plus time complexity questions.
