Edlio is clearly in need of actual, trained and experienced managers as well as individuals who know how to actually interview. Interviewing is a soft skill but a skill nonetheless and having someone who isn’t able to conduct a proper one is not a great experience. I discovered that the person hiring for this role had no training in or real experience within product management. If this is standard with all management at Edlio, that they are not well-versed in their own professions, then this says a lot (of negative things) about the company and culture. Add in what felt distinctly like ageism in this painfully awkward interview and I feel lucky I dodged what seems like a terrible environment.
Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Edlio (Glendale, CA)
Colloquio
2 interviews, 1 by phone, second by Zoom. Both were friendly, & not intimidating. Asked appropriate questions. Only complaint is I had to wait a bit longer than expected to get an offer back.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Edlio nel mese di ago 2023
Colloquio
Phone call, 3 interviews, 2 lunches.
I had far more knowledge of what needed to be done for growth.i May have intimidated them by accident. A lot of potential if CEO made the decisions, he has the most experience. I would stay away unless you are ok with working 7x14 hour days. Not professional.
