Interview was of 5 rounds: >1st round: DS & Algo - Question: Given a stream of number find the median at any given time - Nice interaction with the interviewer and nice experience - Interviewer want you to know how you approach toward a solution > 2nd Round: Design round - Interviewer will ask question from the projects mentioned in resume, and ask about various challenges faced during building it. - Will discuss about various scenarios, like deadlock situation, Handling of failure, etc - Also was asked to design a Cart system (like amazon shopping cart) Only low level design > 3rd Round: Discussion with VP Engineering (Sort of cultural fitment round) - Simple conversation, related to my past experience - Work in Eltropy, - Salary expectations > 4th Round: Discussion with Co-founder(HR negotiation round) - Discussion on what is Eltropy. - Salary Expectation, On stating my number, directly told this beyond their limits, and never bothered to state their number at any given point. - Humiliated me by stating that I am running after money and not believe in Company's vision. - Further they wanted test me with another round of offline machine coding. > 5th Round: Machine coding round (offline) - Question: To Build a banking system - Wrote code over the weekend - Pushed on Github, and shared all the details like postman collections - But didn't get any response for a week - Took a follow up, was told will get response within 2 days, but again no response for another week. - Again sent a message to follow up. But then they ghosted me. Have not listen anything back from them yet. Conclusion: (What I felt) In 3/5 Rounds, experience was great and had positive outlook toward company, but the last two rounds ruined it all, They could be simply professional and said they had limited budget, and hence could not go forward with my candidature. But they used cheap tactics to avoid me, which ended up wasting my time.
