Initial phone screen then an in-person interview with Human Resources Manager. You are applying for an assistant level role when the actual responsibilities are for a Generalist/Manager. Really easy interview process, just act like you are interested.

Insanely easy interview; went in the office to speak with the HR Manager to discuss everything but experience or job-relevant competencies. Pretty much like any other HR "professionals" these days, the interview was just about personality and culture. What I mean is that the manager doesn't know what she's looking for in a candidate besides seeing if candidate interviews well. Asked standard interview questions that you'll find on the first link of a Google search. The true position you are applying for is Human Resources Generalist, but is listed as HR Assistant because they want to hire a candidate with mid-career experience for $1 above minimum wage.

Contacted by the hiring manager-slash-HR for a phone screen; invited after the screen to come in and interview. During my in-person interview, I was told I would be scheduled to come in again and meet more of the team, but was ghosted instead. Good indication of how they treat people here--glad I dodged a bullet.
