Extremely long and drawn out process that consisted of 3 phone interviews (HR, potential direct manager, and VP) and a 3 hour in person interview (1 hour lunch at a LOUD restaurant with 2 managers, a 5-person panel, and lastly with 1 real sales manager). After hitting the phone interviews out of the park, (which demonstrated my clear ability to do the job very well, in addition to my resume) I do not feel the in person “culture fit” interviews were really meant to give a candidate a fair shake in how they would be able to do the job successfully. Ultimately they seemed to base their hiring decision on how one might simply seem like everyone else that they hired on the team - which is their prerogative, but they seriously lose out on highly qualified candidates and instead opt for everyone looking and acting all the same. In my opinion, this company does not hire the most qualified candidates for the job, and until they do, will not be a top player in the space.
