I applied through LinkedIn back in February. Process took 2 months. I made it through 7 rounds of interviews, without any real clarity on how many more steps there would be. I was told I was in the final round, beat hundreds of other candidates, but that there was one more round that required me to do a design test - which I spent 2 hours on - and then I had to present to the team. I then received a rejection the following week with no feedback. Clearly whoever else was in the final round they liked better, however I was pretty taken aback that they wasted two months of my time with interviews and a test and then couldn't even give me any feedback or explanation on why I was passed over.
