Interviewing at Google was one of the most thorough processes I’ve experienced. Each stage was thoughtfully designed to evaluate not just technical ability, but problem-solving approach, collaboration style, and cultural alignment. From the structured coding interviews to the behavioral conversations, every step felt intentional and consistent. I appreciated how interviewers dug into my reasoning, asking follow-up questions that tested depth of understanding rather than surface knowledge. The cross-functional panel added diverse perspectives, making the process rigorous yet fair. Overall, it reflected Google’s commitment to high standards and building well-rounded, impactful teams.

Tell me about a time you disagreed with a teammate. How did you handle it?
I submitted my resume, waited weeks, then got to do a recruiter screen and a tough coding call. Finally, I got an onsite interview before being told I was rejected

Follow up: print all triplets
First round interview, covering mainly brain teasers and experience. Very analytical question list and live problem soling and gaming scenarios. Enjoyable but challenging process, very intelligent interviewers. Following round was a super day

It was very uncertain, overall the area of coverage and expectation was just too much. Must know very deep into the space. I would recommend to study beyond the technicals and more about the space of which the team operated in.
