Recruiter contacted me about a job. I decided to interview. It took a really long time to schedule the interviews. Most of them (4/5) where with VP level. The hiring manager interview went great. The others went okay. They were all friendly. The last - i won't say his name - was very short. He said, "you've never done X". I said no. He said, we no longer need to continue. The recruiter called later and apologized. The overall interviews were fine but maybe better alignment from the start would have helped.
