A VERY long process. About 8 months from the very initial call with a recruiter to the job offer.
Google explains the recruiting process pretty well on their website.
After the initial call with the recruiter, there were a couple of 30-minute calls with Hiring managers (neither were a good fit). Then recruiter scheduled a 45-minute call with a senior Program manager - to determine the fit and level on the PgM job ladder. After a positive result from that interview, I was scheduled for the "on Site" interview for GCA, RRK, Googliness/Leadership and PgM fundamentals. about 1-1.5 weeks later, I got feedback that they are ready to match me to a team.
I had 4 team match calls (30-minute calls with hiring managers to see if the job is mutually a good fit). The team match process took about 2 months.
The 4th team match was the right fit and they moved onto the hiring committee approval then the offer negotiations.

the interview questions are really hard. Don't listen to those people that say the interviews are easy at Google. Those people didn't get hired. If the interview questions are easy, then everybody would get hired. Anyone serious about getting hired by Google should study, prepare, practice and prepare even moe . it's the hardest interview cycle I've done ever (even harder than Amazon interviews. I've done both)

The interview scheduling was long and had multiple cancellations throughout the process, causing a delay and misalignment in expectations. The interviewer was not prepared/informed on what questions to ask which was really disappointing, especially considering company like Google.

3 rounds of interview, excluding HR screening. Each interview have about 4 - 6 qns, testing past examples from your work experience, as well as how you may solve future hypothetical problems. You have to be prepared for role-related questions.
