The WORST and most HORRIBLE interview process I went through. The whole process took 8 months long (and counting cos they are still ghosting me). They ghosted us for 5 months after the initial interview and sent an email 1 day expecting us to attend an interview within 24 hours?! Interviewer did not show up at all for 1 interview. Interviewer showed up 30 min late for a second interview. Recruiter and coordinators are COMPLETELY unresponsive and UNPROFESSIONAL. I emailed them asking about matters such as interview scheduling and 0 replies. I've received 0 replies from them, NONE at all throughout the entire interview process. They called me twice one day but I couldn't pick up as I was having exams. According to my friend, they called to schedule a coffee chat with him and he got his offer soon after that coffee chat. This led me to think that perhaps I lost my final chance because I did not pick up their call that day. So you're saying I wasted 8 months of waiting just to get rejected because they made an unscheduled call which I did not pick up? The recruiter was extremely unresponsive and I don't know why she has this attitude of ghosting candidates acting as if Google is such a highly sought after place that they can lord over their interviewees and waste all of our time. In conclusion, Google interview process is the WORST process I've gone through because I feel like I'm being played for a fool. Google has no qualms about wasting your time and treating you like absolute garbage. Please do yourself a favour and apply to places that actually treat you with respect. instead go being dragged around by the whims and fancies of recruiters that don't care about your time and effort.
