Good. Asked about the very basic and deep concepts of neural networks and training and optimization. The interview was good and easy to make it to the candidate pool. The next step is to match with a group that is harder.

I was asked what is the main conclusion of a paper I have never read about. So I didn't know the answer. Then we read through the paper together and the interviewer asked me to summarize the paper.

Tough when I was there they said I would have to do coding interview but I didn’t because I just wanted to see how it is and at the end my computer broke down and then
One research interview with a research scientist to assess research interest and one technical interview with an engineer to assess technical skillset. Each took 1 hour. Then a shorter HR interview.
