The interview process at Microsoft usually starts with a quick chat with a recruiter to go over your background and see if you're a good fit, followed by a technical screen (often online) where you solve coding or role-specific problems. If you pass that, you'll move on to a virtual or on-site interview loop with around 4–5 interviews in one day, covering technical skills, problem-solving, and behavioral questions using the STAR method. You’ll also have a final “as-appropriate” interview with a senior leader to assess leadership potential and cultural fit. If all goes well, the team reviews your feedback and, if you're approved, you'll get an offer.
