Applied online and received an email from the recruiter to set up a call. The recruiter was very friendly and described the role in full details. Then she asked me simple background questions to which I thought I gave pretty good answers. She said she was interviewing a couple of other candidates and would get back to me once she is done with them. But I have'nt heardb back from her for a week. After a couple of follow up emails she sent me a reply saying they chose to move forward with another candidate.

Screening followed by an Excel assignment. The assignment required proficiency in Excel - it even included a task for building a simple regression model.
I believe you need to use Excel on a daily basis to complete the tasks in the given time limit.

Arrive on site, meet with recruiter for 15 min chat, start interviews (depending on the day and timing you may or may not have the people who you are scheduled to meet) You will meet with 5-6 people. Lunch was on them.

Standard "I Banker" and "Programmer" puzzle questions; if you know them, you'll be fine. They just want to see if you "fit" with the company. Five Gallon and 3 Gallon Jug and 3 fastest horses from a 25 horse race. Followed by how you would work through "e-commerce business" problems.

Interviewed for a B.A role with the Products Team in Delhi,
Process takes about 10 days & the organisation has a clearly chalked recruitment plan with 3-4 stages of discussion culminating to an offer.
The process usually starts with the HR & moves on to Managers & Senior Managers from within the Team who try to identify your cultural and professional fit and ultimately to the CEO himself. I personally found the process very transparent & the interviewers are eloquent about work , vision & your role within the team, so don't hesitate to ask questions.

Since I was being interviewed for the Products Team, the discussion was very focussed on the productisation value chain, wherein they try to analyse if you identify with their business model. One or few stages will be consultative with market sizing & estimation questions and towards the end more focussed on the role itself with operational discussions about troubleshooting & identifying bottlenecks in the product lifecycle. Importance is given to previous work, so be conversant and know what you have done professionally in and out
