I was really excited about Gusto as a company but had a disappointing interview experience, due to slow responses and lack of organization on the part of the recruiting team . The recruiter followed up about 1.5 weeks after application with scheduling a phone screen. Then it took about a week to set up a technical phone interview. Then it took a week for the company to communicate that they had put a hold on scheduling final round interviews. I'm sure they had a high volume of candidates, but overall communication could have been more timely and transparent.

I only did the first round which is technical. They asked a meet code question. It was quite chill, the interviewer was friendly. I didn’t move forward because they had reached head count but I was able to solve the question given to me.
