For this interview process, I first had a phone screen with our wonderful recruiter, Noah who really took the time to walk me through the job role and the expectations as well as describe the many benefits and highlights of working for HuBSpot. I loved how knowledgable he was about the company and how calm and collected he always was which put me at ease and madeit feel like a great conversation with a colleague where I could ask questions and gather feedback. From there I sat down with 5 managers in an afternoon, which may seem daunting, but was actually a really incredible experience. I was given the opportunity yo pick the brains of 5 different people about their thoughts on the culture of HubSpot and where they saw the company headed. Not only that, but the interview with my direct manager was actually a remote interview as she was currently in Dublin working from HubSpot's EMEA office. It was a wonderful interview, but what I loved most of all was that when she returned from Dublin, she invited me to lunch for the opportunity to sit down one on one and just get to know one another and make sure our personalities were compatible. I love that HubSpot looks for people who are more than just a job fit -- they're a culture fit, too, and more than that, they're a culture add because HubSpotters are meant to add to the ever-changing culture of the business.
