The whole process took about 3 months so far. I applied in early August. The recruiter was transparent at the beginning; however, it turned into a mess at the end. two weeks after the final interview, the recruiter reached out asking for availability to talk on a Friday. I replied the same day and was ghosted. In the week after, I had to send another email regarding the results. The recruiter apologized for the delay and said a decision has not been made yet, and a meeting with the team will be conducted later Tuesday night, and I should get my result by the end of the week. Here's the kicker, It is the end of the week today, and it's been almost 1 month. The update is that a final decision has still not been made, and I'll be updated ASAP. I expected Hubspot to be better and way more transparent as they said they are. Overall experience so far went from positive to negative. I'm not sure if I should wait for them, or this is their way of saying "you're a backup, now wait until we remember you." Hopefully, other people won't need to deal with this in the future.
