I was referred by a friend who works at HubSpot.
The interview process was quite lengthy. It started with a self-recorded questionnaire followed by a phone screening, another 30-minute call with a hiring manager and then three 30-minute interviews with one of them being a mock sales pitch. Two of the three managers I met with seemed as if they could not care less about being there and they were forced at gunpoint. Disinterested, clearly checking their email/phone while I was answering questions. It was a pretty big turn off.
I made it to the last round and was not extended an offer. The feedback I received is that my cold call skills could have been better (which was very fair) and that one hiring manager thought I "only wanted to work there because I had friends there."
Overall, HubSpot is clearly a great company with a great product. However, I felt as if some of the folks I interviewed with could not care less about me, my experience or bringing me onboard.

nice and easy process, just prepare well do your research and you will be fine, roleplays involved but they give you a scenario to go off, no serious push back or objections they just want to see if you are coachable.
It was chill, they were super flexible. The roleplaying was weird. You needed to be fast but slow at the same time. Enough to understand painpoints but not long enough to bore them.

The lack of clear feedback from recruiters and hiring managers, combined with generic responses, has been highly disappointing. Additionally, the hiring manager appeared unfocused during the interview process, frequently shifting attention away from the candidate. This experience aligns with concerns highlighted in Glassdoor reviews about negative employee feedback regarding the company’s culture and internal practices.
