Recruiter Interview:
Very friendly! The questions were fair and clearly related to the role.
(Heard back an hour later that I’d progressed to the next round.)
First Interview:
Standard BDR questions. The interviewer was friendly and attentive.
(Same day, I was informed I’d made it to the next round.)
Second Interview:
This round involved a mock cold call. It felt a little awkward at times, but the interviewer provided genuine, helpful feedback at the end. They stuck closely to the job description and made it clear they weren’t looking for someone with years of sales experience—just someone with drive and enthusiasm.
(Received news an hour later that I’d progressed again.)
Final Round:
Three 30-minute, back-to-back interviews (all one-to-one). While not all of the questions felt directly related to the role, the interviewers remained friendly and attentive throughout.
(Later that same day, I was informed I hadn’t made it to the final stage.)
Conclusion:
While I wouldn’t call the process simple, it was genuinely refreshing to interview with HubSpot. The communication was clear, feedback was prompt, and they didn’t waste time. I’ll definitely be applying again in future.
