Recruiter cancelled my scheduled interview 20 minutes before it was supposed to start, stating that after taking a closer look at my resume, my “experience didn’t align with the role” (despite having originally reached out to me via LinkedIn saying my background aligned with the role and encouraging me to apply.) I have literally done (and been successful at) the exact type of job I was applying for…I also spent a while before the call reading over several resources the recruiter sent and learning more about the company so I would be prepared. What a waste of my time. If this is how they treat potential applicants, then this isn’t the type of company I’d like to work for anyways.
