First I was given a tour of the building and told all about the perks the company gives you like parties and a gaming room that consisted of Nintendo only. They also told me that they give free lunch on Tuesdays only, shown the training room, and then I was lead to a room where I took a typing test and a mock desk help test, which is timed for 30 min. I was told the whole interview process took approximately 2hrs and that at the end if I was not picked, I would be given a detailed reason why. That did not happen. After the tests, I was taken to shadow one of the help desk techs until the people who were interviewing me were ready. I ended up having one person at the building who interviewed me on my customer service skills and one who interview via web conference on my help desk skills. I was told that they usually train you if you do not know much about Linux, or other help desk issues, so if I didn't know something, to just say I didn't know and we would continue on. I could tell the guy on the video conference straight up didn't like me just by his body language and tone. I did make it clear that i'm not good with acronyms but that I do understand the processes. So he asked and I answered, his questions were mainly about POP3 and other processes in email settings. He had a few questions on Linux and told me "knowing how to program in different languages is not valuable to this job". When I was sent an email saying that they were passing me up for another candidate, I wrote back and asked for my "detailed reason why." What I got was not detailed and went against what I was told during the interview. Their reason was I didn't know enough about email processes.

Over Skype, went smoothly. Interviewers asked a lot of questions that pertain to the job. The questions were basic in regards to the knowledge of a technical support agent. I was satisfied with the interview process.
