I had applied from linkedin for software engineer - node.js position. It has been one of the most absurd interviews i have given. The interviewer was junior engineer who probably didn't have much experience interviewing, i was told by hr that its a problem solving round and was asked everything but problem solving in the interview. Interviewer asked what i have worked on in my company, i told about the project i was working on and work i had done. After that 3 times i was asked the same question what have you worked on in your company. What would you change if the traffic is in millions. Then the interviewer asked a javascript question, implement a sleep function, i implemented that. After that he asked a system design question as well😂😂, design bookmyshow, that too high level design and db schema. I dont think this company knows how to take interviews, so dont waste your time applying, i thought its paytm's own line of business, but its some startup that they have acquired. Dont confuse it with Paytm.
