A recruiter reached out to me and we had a good initial phone conversation. They told me that the next step would be to solve a product challenge. This would need 4-5 hours of my time to solve a couple of product problems. I did so in the allotted time. Two weeks after I'd submitted my challenge, they had not even reviewed it! But they promised they were going to do so. However I didn't hear back from them at all. It's very disappointing to ask a candidate to spend so much time upfront in the process and then not even get back to him with a response, positive or negative. Makes for a pretty crappy candidate experience. It's also not professional and likely a preview of life as an employee.

Applied online. Process started with an HR review and then a hiring manager screen; still in the process now. Will update once completed. Process has been pretty straightforward so far.
