I applied online and was contacted by HR a few weeks later to speak with a midlevel on the team hiring. This was not for an entry-level role but it was not senior either. There was a 30 minute call. I had a good resume in that function and I thought I had a strong interview, but they decided to go with a candidate with almost no experience and limited credentials. I’d think twice about joining a company that is scraping the barrel when they have decent candidates.
