I interviewed for a junior Java dev position, not having any Java experience. They acknowledged that C# (which I have about 1 year experience with) and Java are closely related, but they were looking for someone with 10-15 years of Java experience. This wasn't in the job listing, and even surprised the recruiter who set up the interview. Otherwise, it was straightforward and relatively low-stress.
