Following on from the interview for the above position as mentioned in a previous review, Just Eat, realizing that I had experience in the aspect of the role as explained by the agency via email after they said no, then say that they would like to give me a chance - for one day! So an interview and email with these people is not enough, they also want to mess me around by seeing how things go for one solitary day! I had since committed to another role that starts on that same particular day. I cannot go back and pull out of this role just because they want to see how I do for one day. And all this for a role which is initially temporary! I am amazed at the nerve of these people. I am out of work and cannot be messed around like this. The finance interviewers at Just Eat have handled this so badly. Advice to the finance interviewers at Just Eat - if you are so concerned about the one aspect of the role, then carry out the interview and then ask the candidate to demonstrate their ability that same day in a test mode. You cannot mess candidates about like this, particularly those that are out of work. All that said, they do seem to have a surprisingly good reputation. If they are ever prepared to admit they handled this badly, I would not rule out working for them in the future
