Colloquio
The interview process took around 2-3 weeks. Everyone was kind and understanding from the get-go. There were 3 interviews in total. The first one was a phone interview, which was short and aimed at a better understanding of the company and the job role is something that the candidate will be interested in, depending on their prior experience and job search. At this stage, the following questions were asked: ' Tell me about your previous experience?', 'What is your job search looking like?', 'What type of company would you like to work in?'. The second interview was with two people from the marketing team and it was a behavioural and situational interview that lasted 30 minutes. Both of them were really nice and relaxed. Reading through your CV and linking your experience to situations that could appear in the workplace would be a great step in your preparation for the interview. ( Remember the S.T.A.R method ) Also, think outside of the box, or relate them to others, as some questions may catch you off-guard. The third and final interview was with two people from the analysis team that lasted 1 hour. This stage was certainly the lengthiest and the most challenging. It involved preparing a presentation in 5 slides about a topic of their choice ( such as programmatic advertising ). This task was supposed to take around 5-7 minutes maximum and involved answering 2-3 core questions about the topic, such as introducing what programmatic is and how its' use can benefit advertisers. The second part of the interview involved analysing the performance of a campaign, based on the client's main KPI. The task involved sharing your thoughts on the insights, the next steps to make based on the results and additional tactics that you would take to improve the campaign's performance. Some metrics that were given were: CTR, CPM and impressions. I would advise spending a good amount of time on both tasks and truly trying to understand the concepts.

Why Kepler? What are you looking for in a company?
2nd Interview: 'How would your professor describe you? 'If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?', 'Have you made a media plan before? If yes, what are some important steps to consider when making it?' ( e.g.: understand the audience, know your product and your client's needs, etc. )
3rd Interview ( extra tip ): A good way of analysing is by sectioning data and trying to understand why some parts of the campaign were successful or not, by learning more about the metrics and information that have been given to you.

It was an easygoing first round. Second round consisted of talking to more team members, and a marketing exercise. This was followed by a skills assessment and talking to more team members. Very pleasant company to talk to.

First stage - 30 minute video call with a member of HR, was very nice and kind
Second stage - 30 minute video call with two other analysts, very similar questions to first stage
Third/final stage - 1 hour in-person interview in their office with two more senior employees. Included two tasks, first was a presentation about programmatic advertising and the second was a data analysis task. You can present the data analysis task however you like. After presenting each task the interviewers ask questions regarding it to test your understanding further and then more questions about how you like to work and be supported. As a graduate this made Kepler feel like a more supportive working environment for those in their early careers, which is something I was particularly looking for. Prior to arriving, I was told to check in with the office buildings' reception, however, when I got there I was told they did not have contact with Kepler so I had to email them to let them know I was there.
Almost a week after my final stage interview, I received an email saying I wasn't successful without any feedback. I emailed back to ask for feedback/areas to improve. I don't think this is unreasonable or unexpected as this would be very useful for someone in the early stages of their career who invested time in interviewing, preparing presentations and travelling into their office. However, I received an automatic email back saying I don't have permission to contact that email anymore. It was the same email that I'd emailed previously, therefore I feel my email was blocked upon rejection. This has distorted what I had previously thought of Kepler as being a supportive work environment for those in the earlier stages of their careers.
