I applied to Klaviyo online through Glassdoor. Got an email from the Director of the Marketing department and scheduled a phone interview for that next day. Then I connected with HR the following day to setup a phone interview with the hiring manager. After those, HR asked me to come in for an in person interview. I interviewed with the Director of the team, hiring manager event coordinator and a marketing coordinator. Took about 2 hours. HR followed up the following Monday (In-person was on a Friday) letting me know as the final step they are inviting me in to interview with the CEO. One of the best conversations I’ve had on an interview was with him! Really solidified Klaviyo as a company that’s concerned with their employees well being and the culture. Offer was extended the day after that interview. Very quick process!

If I were to call each of your past jobs, what would each of them say about you?
First impression counts. Interviews got postponed last minute. Hiring manager was late, did not apologise or explain and even looked disinterested several times. Not the greatest start to a working relationship imo. Layoff news also says a lot about the culture
The interview process was standard. There were no curveball questions. The recruiter outlined the expectations and who I'd speak to so there weren't any surprises. I landed the interview from a cold application.

Colloquio
The interview process was standard for a role in tech -- screening, hiring manager, panel (4 people) and then the hiring manager's manager. It took about 2 weeks to hear back after I applied online. The recruiter was incredibly kind, respectful and supportive throughout the entire process. They were accessible through email, phone and text and provided me with updates along the way. The entire process has taken about 1 month.
