Received a message from a sourcer, had a very positive phone call with the person, very professional. Got a good idea of what the company was looking for, especially in terms of additional soft skills.
Sent additional information (work sample, resume etc)
Received a note stating that I was rejected because LinkedIn recruiter had judged my resume not flashy enough.
Honestly I would have respected the decision if I had been told I didn't match some requirement - how ironical and contradictory for the one company that revolutionized networking and job seeking to make a decision based on the product they turned stale 10 years ago?
Clearly I need to work on my resume, but it has been more of a document to enter in a system than a tool for candidates to get a job in a while now.
