The process began with a quick screening interview, followed by a well-designed take-home assignment. It wasn’t particularly difficult to solve, but it did require some time to fully understand the underlying algorithm and context. Afterwards, I had the opportunity to walk through my reasoning and explain my approach in a conversation that was conducted with a great deal of respect, empathy, and professionalism.
In the next stage, I was asked to present a project for which I was primarily responsible. Looking back, I realize I didn’t communicate my impact as clearly as I could have. I believe they were expecting more emphasis on collaboration, leadership, key learnings, and measurable outcomes. I also didn’t structure my response using frameworks like STAR, CAR, or similar approaches, largely because I wasn’t as confident in my communication as I should have been. This is something I’m committed to improving.
Had I progressed further, the process would have included two additional steps: one focused on my career journey and another conversation with the founders.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a great work environment. Wishing the team continued success.
