Was referred by someone. Hiring manager reached out for phone interview. Phone interview was completely behavioral for 50 mins. Was informed to move to next round within 2 days. But the next round was scheduled 2 weeks later. Scheduling delays. 5 rounds of interview. 2 technical and 3 behavioral. One of the interviewers asked me to explain something challenging i have faced, when I explained, he was like what the hell is challenging in this. Maybe it was supposed to be a stress interview but my confidence was shaken up a bit by that. Overall went well. Would give 4/5. But I was strung along for more than a month with ghosting from recruiter and finally got a reject. Microsoft is such a good company but I fail to understand why after repeated feedback about how much their recruiters suck, they don’t do anything to improve it.

5 rounds of interview- 1 hour each. Logical questions related to the role and previous experience. Every interviewer was calm, kind and knowledgeable. The process was quick. The schedule was on time.
