It was alright, not really challenging, they asked just very basic questions about what i had stidud and what i know of the activites thay re running. Basically they wanted to know if o knew the sujbects they wanted to reserch on and if i had any industrial experience

The interview was for the position of a research analyst (5 years exp). Overall there were about 6 rounds. First round - over the phone with a senior analyst. They interviewer would mention a scenario and then probe the candidate's problem solving skills. He would then introduce a new concept and check to what extent the candidate understands it and is able to apply it to a real life scenario. It lasted for about an hour. 2nd round - Face to face with a senior analyst. Similar to the first round - scenario based questioning. Checks understanding of business stakeholders and alignment of research to their needs. For e.g. if the COO is the stakeholder - he would be looking at things from an Ops perspective, hence the research should be done keeping this in mind, etc 3rd round - Case study/ presentation with a senior analyst. Not much of analysis. Focus on secondary research skills and storyboard of the presentation. Questions at the end of assignment 4th round - HR round with a hiring manager. Questions on current work structure, KRA's, etc. Checks knowledge of performance management (for lead positions) 5th round - With the business unit director. Summary of the earlier rounds - scenario based and detailed knowledge of existing work profile. I didn't make it past this round... :(
