The overall process took a whole month. The company HR reached out and asked basic HR questions. It was followed by a two days coding challenge where you are asked to create a simple REST APIs and show transaction statistics. I think the hidden idea was to achieve the goal in O(1) which I did. The third round (the most interesting round) was technical interview with two guys. It was a friendly conversation which I used to had with my ex-principal engineer in my previous company. We talked about high level architecture, design patterns, production challenges, code reviews and some of my unconventional approach to software development. It also included a 10 min live coding challenge which was an average level question. In total they gauged my overall technical standing. The forth round was with a manager where we talked about technologies, devops pipeline, psychological analysis and how my first few months would look like if I join the company. And finally the fifth round was with the HR where I was offered the job.

I received a candidate pack that outlined all the interviews. Overall, they’re quite straightforward, just make sure to study LeetCode and system design. That said, don’t underestimate the final behavioral interview. You’ll be under pressure, so it’s important to prepare thoroughly.
I managed to complete the entire interview process and received positive feedback along the way, but I was ultimately rejected in the final stage.
