There were a few rounds, but I didn’t make it to the last one. Everyone was super nice but they definitely ask you some decent questions to make sure you are staying relevant to culture.

It was a fairly simple scheduling process. I was given the Netflix Culture doc to prepare for the phone interview with the recruiter. The recruiter was extremely rude, kept cutting me off when I spoke and did not give me a great impression of the company culture.

The HR contact who reached out to me and set everything up was fantastic at first, but the process was too drawn out with poor communication towards the middle and end. Nearly all the team members I spoke to were casual/laid back in their interview styles and honestly very pleasant to chat with. I had four separate calls in total, from HR screening to the final rounds. It took weeks to hear a final decision after multiple attempts to get someone's attention after they basically ghosted me.

This position was with UCAN. The recruiter was sort of inept. She first sent me an email saying she'd like to interview me, I got back to her and she disappeared. It took two emails to track her again. Then we did the first interview, it went ok. Subsequently, we had a second round, these two people were uninterested in what I had to say -- one especially had a resting ------ face. They were doing other things on the computer while I was talking. Then ghosting. I would think a company with such "culture" would at least let candidates know they didn't move on to the next round. I also lost respect for them as a company because, as we've seen in the news, Netflix lost 200,000 subscribers for the first time and it's expected to lose more. Once their bonanza hit adversity, Netflix as a company went rogue. Changing what they meant about Netflix's culture, saying employees must like all of Netflix's content or else. And, of course, firing and more firing. What a bless in disguise was to not get this role.
