I like the NextDoor app and am a bigger user of the tool. So, I saw that there's an opening for Head of People Operations. Submitted resume online; then, reached out to someone at the company and had a former key business partner forward my resume. Two people viewed my profile twice from the company. However, no-one reached out to say, "Your resume was forwarded to us by . . ." It's been almost 2 months. Here are my recommendations: 1) Value your referrals - it will increase your employment brand; reach out to all of them even if you do not feel that it is not a fit 2) Communicate - this will strengthen your candidate engagement and attract more talent
