First is recruiter screening, then online interview with 2 of their developers. The interviewers were good, but HR was meh. Asked for feedback but disappeared. Business model is concerning so no wonder they are losing money.
Not a good experience. I applied on website and was contacted by recruiter. Phone screen had 2 rounds which I passed. For onsite after 2 rounds they said no longer a fit. I felt it was a waste of time since I did pretty well and recruiter initially said 2 teams might be interested. Then suddenly said for last round some other team might be interested, asked for my avails and then said not moving forward. Very frustrating experience. Since I was invested in the process for a month.

Applied online and recruiter reached out for a short 20mins phone call. Scheduled me for 2 rounds, coding and system-design. Coding was leetcode style medium question and system-design was designing Nextdoor.

Essentially, you are writing an algorithm to "clump" nearby photos together so the user sees a gallery of three images instead of three separate posts, all while keeping the most popular content at the top.

System design question: Design Nextdoor. Essentially user viewing their feed based on neighborhood and near by neighbors. User flow for creating a post with photo.

Recruiter reached out then a 1 hour technical interview and then a 30 minute talk with the hiring manager. Did not move forward after the hiring manager, no feedback why. Questions were medium - Hard.
