They requested a take-home project with a promise of compensation, yet failed to provide the necessary input files and ignored multiple requests for essential API keys. After a week of silence, they responded not with the agreed-upon compensation, but with a rejection email. This experience reflects a troubling level of disorganization, a lack of integrity, and manipulative treatment of candidates' time and effort.
