Met with three people. They asked about my customer service experience and if I had experience/knowledge about the fintech industry. Seemed to have a very “frat bro” atmosphere, and I think both sides realized it wasn’t a good fit.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso PitchBook (Seattle, WA) nel mese di ott 2017
Colloquio
Phone screen, on-site interview with hiring managers, mock call with hiring managers, reference check. HR was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. They definitely want to make sure they're hiring a good fit for the company.

Domanda 1
There were a lot of questions about overcoming objections in a sales role. There were also questions about values to gauge how the candidate fits in the culture.

Colloquio
I had a phone screen and then was selected to come into the office for an interview. This is when the issue started. I'm a passive candidate and have a full time role in CS so appointments get scheduled fast and this interview was going to take up half the day. She gives me 1 time and the parking instructions. What happened to asking when I was available? I emailed the recruiter back to let her know when I'd be available that week, she didn't respond. A week later she sends an e-mail again prompting me to schedule for an interview and I give her a time that would work well. The day before the time I gave her, she e-mails 'great see you tomorrow'. Well, without that confirmation that it was scheduled, my calendar was already booked. I e-mailed and apologized while prompting a new time the following week. She doesn't email me back for another week and then confirms that the new time would work for her. At that point, I had such a bad taste in my mouth from their clumsy recruiting that I declined to come in but thanked her for the opportunity. Your recruiters are the first touch that a potential team member gets from PitchBook- make sure that they are treated well and they will reciprocate.

They ask a lot of questions on what PitchBook does so be prepared to know your terms! The other questions are pretty mandatory, like how you deal with multitasking etc.
